Going by their recent head-to-head record, GMY will start as favourites against MW on Thursday.

GMY vs MW Dream11 team tips for Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20

Top Tip: Best batter

Mysore Warriors?Pavan Deshpande will be the batter to watch out for in the second qualifier. The 32-year-old is the second highest run-scorer in the ongoing T20 tournament, amassing 396 runs in 11 matches at an average of 44, including four fifties to his name. Deshpande has already accumulated 591 fantasy points and is a worthy fantasy pick at 9.5 credits.

Patil will look to add to his fantasy tally of 553 points and is available for 9 credits.

Apart from his leg-spin, Gopal has also scored 221 runs at a strike rate of 135.58. The 28-year-old all-rounder has already accrued 817 fantasy points - the most by any player involved in this match and is a quality investment at 10 credits.

For the wicket-keeper spot, Mysore Warriors?Nihal Ullal will be the preferred choice over Krishnan Shrijith of Gulbarga Mystics. While being a safe wicket-keeper behind the stumps, Ullal has scored 271 runs in 11 matches at an average of 30.11 and a strike rate of 120.44. Having won their first three matches for the first time, Virat Kohli-led Bangalore will look to continue their unbeaten streak against Rajasthan in the Indian T20 League 2021 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, April 22.

The 2016 finalists Bangalore have made a confident start to their campaign as they had defeated defending champions Mumbai in the season opener and followed it up by securing victories against Hyderabad and Kolkata to move to the top of the points table.

On the other hand, Rajasthan have been inconsistent in the tournament, winning one and losing their other two matches as they stand sixth in the Indian T20 League standings.

Sanju Samson and his men will look to return to winning ways and secure their second win of the ongoing campaign.

Bangalore vs Rajasthan probable playing XI

Bangalore talisman AB de Villers and new recruit Glenn Maxwell have decimated their oppositions in the first three matches. However, the franchise will be a little concerned with the form of their captain Virat Kohli, who has failed to convert his starts to a big one.

The team had also made an interesting decision in their last game against Kolkata as they fielded only three overseas players instead of four. With Bangalore playing in Mumbai for the first time this season, Daniel Christian is expected to return to the playing XI in place of Rajat Patidar.

Rajasthan, on the other hand, will once again depend on their captain Sanju Samson and opener Jos Buttler to click as a batting unit. Samson has been dismissed for low scores in the last two matches after he had smashed a scintillating hundred in their season opener.

Injuries to their two top overseas players - Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes - have also massively impacted the combination of the Rajasthan side. Additionally, another foreign player Liam Livingstone has left the squad due to bio-bubble fatigue.

The franchise may consider making few changes to their side against Bangalore. Their all-rounder Shivam Dube had another poor outing against Chennai and he may get replaced by Shreyas Gopal in the playing XI. Rajasthan might also bring back young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal in place of Manan Vohra.

Bangalore predicted XI: Virat Kohli (captain), Devdutt Padikkal, Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers (wicket-keeper), Rajat Patidar/Daniel Christian, Washington Sundar, Kyle Jamieson, Shahbaz Ahmed, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj,  Yuzvendra Chahal

Rajasthan predicted XI: Jos Buttler (wicket-keeper), Manan Vohra/Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, David Miller, Riyan Parag, Shivam Dube/Shreyas Gopal, Rahul Tewatia, Chris Morris, Jaydev Unadkat, Chetan Sakariya, Mustafizur Rahman

Bangalore vs Rajasthan prediction: Who will win?

In the Bangalore vs Rajasthan head-to-head record in the Indian T20 League, both sides have won 10 games each in the 22 matches played between these two franchises. Two games ended with no results. However, Virat Kohli’s Bangalore have won three of their last five matches in the high-profile league. Considering the form of the Bangalore side, they are tipped to triumph over Rajasthan at the Wankhede on Thursday.

Top Tip: Best Batsmen

Bangalore will once again depend on AB de Villiers to put in another match-winning performance with the bat against Rajasthan. The 37-year-old has a great record against Rajasthan, aggregating 648 runs in 19 innings at a strike rate of 146.6 with eight fifties.

On the other hand, opener Jos Buttler will be the player to watch out for Rajasthan with the bat. Buttler has scored 220 runs in eight innings against Virat Kohli’s side, at a strike rate of 151.72.

Top Tip: Best Bowlers

In the bowling department, Bangalore leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is tipped to be the wrecker-in-chief for his side against Rajasthan. The 30-year-old has bagged 16 wickets in 10 innings against the opposition at an economy of 6.05.

For Rajasthan, Shreyas Gopal is expected to be Bangalore’s biggest threat on Thursday. Shreyas has claimed 14 wickets in six innings against Kohli and his men.

Top Tips: All-rounder and Wicket-keeper

Bangalore possesses several top all-rounders in their line-up including Washington Sundar, Daniel Christian and Glenn Maxwell. However, India all-rounder Washington Sundar would be the preferred choice for the all-rounder spot due to his match-winning capabilities. Sundar has picked 26 wickets while scoring 204 runs in 39 Indian T20 League matches.

On the other hand, Chris Morris had shown why Rajasthan paid a hefty price for him as he had played a blitzkrieg innings of 18-ball 36 against Delhi to guide his team to a thrilling win. He is expected to play an important role both with bat and ball against Bangalore on Thursday.

For the wicket-keeper position, AB de Villiers will be the preferred choice over Sanju Samson. De Villiers is considered to be one of the best fielders to have played the sport. He is equally a safe fielder behind the stumps. The former South Africa captain has taken 106 catches and completed eight stumpings in the Indian T20 League history.

A sensational bowling display followed by an assured performance with the bat saw Rajasthan register a comfortable seven-wicket win over Chennai.

Here are the key talking points from the contest:

Chennai Jos-tled

Defending a modest total of 126, Chennai were in the hunt for early wickets and managed to get them, picking up three wickets in a space of two runs to reduce Rajasthan to 28/3. However, their hopes were quickly squashed by a sensational batting performance from Jos Buttler, who in his new role as the #5 batsman scored 70 off 48, seemingly batting on a different surface and guiding Rajasthan to a comfortable seven-wicket victory.

Faf, Ambati, Jadeja and who?

Chennai's struggles with the bat continued as only one of the eight batsmen that had the opportunity to bat managed to score over 30 runs in the contest. Outside of Faf Du Plessis and Ambati Rayudu at the top of the batting order and Ravindra Jadeja towards its end, Chennai's batsmen are in horrible form. When at least two of these three fail to score well, Chennai usually finish with a rubbish score. While their bowling hasn’t been top-notch, it is their batting that has let them down miserably this season.

Rajasthan's rampant spin duo

While it was Chennai's spinners who were touted to bamboozle Rajasthan, the latter’s spin duo of Shreyas Gopal and all-rounder Rahul Tewatia flipped the script, bowling sensational spells that restricted Chennai to just 125 runs in their batting effort. Gopal was the pick of the bowlers on either side, giving away just 14 runs in his four overs while also dismissing the set Sam Curran. Tewatia, who has been Rajasthan's MVP this season, couldn’t play hero with the bat in this contest, but bowled a terrific spell of 1-18 in his quota of four overs.

Sanju Sam-sunk?

Rajasthan's Sanju Samson started the season with a 74 followed by an 85 and was seemingly poised to have a huge season. However, in the subsequent eight matches, Samson has scored 77 runs at a miserable average of 9.63, further illustrating how his inconsistency has hindered his progress and curbed his chances of playing for the Indian team. Samson has four games to redeem this season, however, given his current form, it seems far-fetched that he'd able to finish the campaign the way he kicked it off.

The 13th edition of the Indian T20 League is all set to kick off in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 19. The nature of tracks and the big boundaries in the UAE stadiums have traditionally favoured spinners and thus, there is no doubt that they are going to play a key role for all the franchises in this edition. Having said that, let's take a look at five spinners who can dominate the conditions in UAE.

Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman (Punjab)

The Afghan spinner is one of the finest mystery spinners in the world right now. He has an excellent T20 record to his name, having claimed a total of 130 wickets in 121 matches at an excellent economy rate of 6.60. Mujeeb has a good bowling record to his name in the Indian T20 League as well.

In 16 Indian T20 League matches, he has claimed a total of 17 wickets and is coming into this edition on the back of a stellar showing in the Caribbean Premier League. The 19-year-old registered a total of 15 wickets in the league stage at a mean economy rate of 5.23. Similar conditions will be in store in the UAE and thus, he can be expected to put on a show there as well.

Shreyas Gopal (Rajasthan)

No other Indian spinner has claimed more wickets than Gopal in the last two editions of the Indian T20 League. Since 2018, the 25-year-old has registered a total of 31 wickets at an average of 18.80 and that includes multiple dismissals of top batsmen like Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers as well.

Gopal's main strength is his deceptive googly with which he has bamboozled even the world's best batsmen in the last couple of years. Moreover, he is quite tall and that helps him in extracting significant bounce off the surface to go along with the sharp turn he gets. That sums up how skilful he is as a bowler and Rajasthan will be looking forward to another superb performance from him in Indian T20 League 2020.

Rashid Khan (Hyderabad)

He doesn't need any introduction at all. The Afghan international has bossed the Indian T20 League ever since his maiden appearance in the tournament in 2017. Since then, Rashid has gone on to register 55 wickets in 46 Indian T20 League matches and that too at a mean economy rate of 6.55.

Rashid's main strength is his ability to extract sharp turn off the surface -- both with leg-breaks and googlies -- at a high pace. That gives the batsmen minimal time to adjust to the change in trajectory of the ball, which in turn helps Rashid keep them under control. He had a good outing in the CPL 2020 as well. In a total of 10 matches for Barbados Tridents, Rashid claimed 11 wickets at an economy rate of 6.85.

Yuzvendra Chahal (Bangalore)

The Indian international has been associated with Bangalore ever since the 2014 season and has 100 Indian T20 League wickets to his name till date at an excellent strike-rate of 17.87. His consistency as a bowler over the years has been unreal and he continues to be a wicket-taking force for the team even today.

Chahal is one of the rare spinners who can bowl at any stage of a T20 game. Whether it is in the powerplay or the middle-overs or in the death, Chahal always backs himself to deliver under pressure. Not only does he get sharp turn due to the high number of revolutions he imparts to the ball, but Chahal also varies his pace quite well to keep the batsmen guessing. He has immense experience and that's why he can be expected to succeed in UAE.

Ravichandran Ashwin (Delhi)

He has been out of the Indian T20 side for quite a long time now but Ashwin still remains one of the best Indian spinners in the Indian T20 League even today. The experienced campaigner made a move to Delhi from Punjab during the trade window last year.

The 34-year-old has played a total of 139 Indian T20 League matches till date and registered 125 wickets in them at an excellent economy rate of 6.89. He claimed 15 wickets in the last season even after playing most of his matches on the unhelpful Mohali track. So that sums up the kind of trouble he can cause the batsmen when he gets some help from the conditions in UAE this time.

While cricket as such, and especially T20, is often described as a batsman's game, bowlers who can create breakthroughs frequently are in high demand in the Indian T20 League. There's no skill like wicket-taking that can contain the scoring rate, and over the years these bowlers have excelled in the same.

Note: Only Bowlers with at least 30 wickets in the competition are considered.

Kagiso Rabada

Kagiso Rabada has played just 18 matches in the Indian T20 League, but the South African pacer, highly rated across formats, is a ferocious fast bowler with a penchant for picking up wickets. The seamer has 31 wickets at an average of 17.93, but what makes him top this list is a strike rate of 13.22 which is the best in the league's history. The highlight of Rabada's Indian T20 League career is containing a marauding hitter like Andre Russell in the Super Over.

Andrew Tye

The Australian pace bowler was a revelation in the 2018 edition of the tournament, snaring 24 wickets to win the Purple cap while playing for Punjab. Tye was fantastic with his death bowling in the tournament and used his slower variations and cutters to pick up big wickets in the last few overs. Overall, Tye has 39 wickets in 26 matches in the competition at a strike rate of 15.23 with three four-wicket hauls. His average of 21.07 is also commendable but Tye's stocks have since gone down in the league.

Shreyas Gopal

While leg-spinners have had immense success in the league, the first few names that would come to your mind when discussing this category is unlikely to involve Rajasthan's, Shreyas Gopal. The all-rounder and leg-break bowler has been fantastic in the last two seasons and has 38 wickets in 30 innings in the Indian T20 League. Gopal has a strike rate of 15.5 with just one big haul (four or more wickets) but is a consistent wicket-taker in the league's history.

Imran Tahir

Few T20 bowlers have as much experience of playing in various conditions as Imran Tahir. The T20 mercenary has enjoyed a stellar time in the Indian T20 League. In 55 games, Tahir has 79 wickets at an average of 20.39 and a strike rate of 15.51 with three four-wicket hauls. The leg-spinner also comes with an economy of 7.88 and is a handy addition to most teams. At Chennai, he seems to have found men who trust him with key tasks and he usually thrives in such circumstances.

Doug Bollinger

Few remember the impact Doug Bollinger made in the Indian T20 League for Chennai. The left-arm pacer was a revelation in a side packed with spinners and found a knack of picking up early wickets with the new ball. In 96 overs in the competition, Bollinger picked up 37 wickets at an impressive average of 18.72. His economy of 7.21 further made him a dangerous bowler in the format. With an ability to strike every 15 balls, Bollinger remains the best wicket-taking left-arm pacer the tournament has seen.

When the stars are aligned in your favour, everything goes your way. Something of similar sort happened last night ?April 2nd ?when Rajasthan bowler, Shreyas Gopal snatched three wickets for 12 during his side’s seven-wicket victory over Virat Kohli’s team Bengaluru.

What’s more fascinating is the fact that his prey were three high-profile batsmen; Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Shimron Hetmyer. Speaking after the game, the 25-year-old leg-spinner admitted that dismissing these men is the best moment of his career.

"Getting Virat Kohli and AB Villiers in same match is a dream for any youngster. It is the best moment of my cricketing career and definitely one of biggest moments of my Indian T20 League cricket.?/p>

"Any wicket is a big wicket but obviously these two are big names so it feels that much more better. But I feel I shouldn’t be getting ahead of myself and stay calm.?/p>

"Honestly, I feel it is hard to plan a dismissal for batsmen like them (Kohli and De Villiers). You just need to be able to bowl your best ball and try and hit the best area on that particular wicket. It is all based on the situation,?Gopal said.

"When you land on the ground you obviously do your homework. What the type of ground is, how the wicket is reacting, how the opposition has been playing. So for example (Krishnappa) Gowtham bowling three of his overs in powerplay felt like a good idea at that moment.?/p>

Gopal also admitted that he is keen on learning more from the experienced member of the squad.

"In between overs I just go to Ajju Bhai (Rahane), Jos (Buttler) or Smith and have a couple of words and try to understand what they think about the game because they have a lot of experience.?/p>
