Cole Palmer has quickly become a key player at Chelsea. Despite talk of Manchester City wanting him back, there’s no sign the Blues will let him go anytime soon. The 23-year-old is under contract until 2033 and is happy at the club. 

Chelsea sees Palmer as one of their most important players, especially after his standout performances. He scored two goals and provided an assist in the Club World Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain, which helped the Blues win the title.

In his first season, he scored 20 goals, won two trophies, and became a fan favourite. However, he dreams of winning the Ballon d’Or, and to do that, he hopes to help Chelsea win the Premier League and Champions League. If the club can’t compete for those top titles, he may consider moving in the future.

Although Manchester City are already title contenders, Palmer reportedly has no interest in going back, as he felt the club didn’t give him enough chances. Now, he enjoys proving himself at Chelsea.

A move to a top European club like Real Madrid or Barcelona could tempt him someday, but for now, Chelsea is determined to keep their star and help him reach the top.

Chelsea bagged a big win over Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the Club World Cup final, thanks to the star of the match, Cole Palmer. The 23-year-old star scored twice and helped set up a third goal for teammate Joao Pedro in a 3-0 win in New Jersey.

Palmer’s first goal came in the 22nd minute, and he followed with a second not long after. Just before the break, he gave a sharp pass to Pedro, who chipped the ball over PSG keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to make it 3-0.

PSG tried to bounce back in the second half, but Chelsea’s keeper Robert Sanchez made key saves. João Neves made things worse for PSG by getting a red card for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair after a VAR check.

The match drew a huge crowd of 81,000 fans, including FIFA chief Gianni Infantino and US president Donald Trump.

He beat Ezzalzouli on the wing and crossed for Enzo Fernandez to head in the equaliser. Soon after, Palmer spun past his marker and set up Nicolas Jackson to make it 2-1.

Palmer didn’t score, but he created key goals and pushed Chelsea forward. Pundits praised his performance, calling him a game-changer. The win gave Chelsea their first trophy under owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital. 

It also gave head coach Enzo Maresca a strong finish to a tough season. He said this result could be the start of something better. Chelsea now return to the Champions League and end the season with silverware in hand.
