JSG Women’s Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024 points table: Know the leaders in the standings

The JSG Women’s Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024 began on Tuesday, February 20 with Himalayan Tahrs beating Aravalli Arrows 31-18 in the opening match of the tournament.

A total of six teams will compete in 19 action-packed matches in the inaugural edition of the JSG Women’s Yuva Kabaddi Series. 

Apart from Aravalli Arrows and Himalayan Tahrs, Murthal Magnets, Palani Tuskers, Panchala Pride and Periyar Panthers are the other teams participating in the JSG Women’s Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024.

The first-ever women’s YKS tournament will be held in two phases - Survival Round and Summit Round.

Each team will play the other five sides once in a round-robin format in the Survival Round. The top four teams in the standings will advance to the Summit Round. 

The top two teams will later clash in the Qualifier 1 for a place in the final.

The third and fourth-placed teams will square off in Eliminator 1.

The winner of Eliminator 1 will lock horns with the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2 for the other spot in the final.

The JSG Women’s Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024 final will be held on February 26.

All matches of the JSG Women’s Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024 will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur.

JSG Women’s Yuva Kabaddi Series 2024 points system

Teams will earn five or six points for a win depending on their margin of victory. If a team wins a match by more than seven points, they will be awarded six points. In case they win by a margin of seven points or less, they will bag five points. 

A tie will give teams three points, while a loss will result in no points for the losing side unless the margin of defeat is seven points or less, in which case the losing team also earns one point.
