The Group Stage of VALORANT Champions 2025 has wrapped up, finalising the eight teams advancing to the Playoffs. Two VCT Americas squads, G2 Esports and MIBR, claimed the last Playoff spots after winning crucial decider matches.
G2 Esports defeats T1 in a rematch
G2 secured their place after a 2-0 sweep against T1. On Lotus, G2 punished T1โs setups and won 13-9 with impressive moves from Alexander โjawgemoโ Mor. On Corrode, Jacob โvalynโ Batio, with his clutch plays, led the way to 13-8. Despite standout moments from Kim โMeteorโ Tae-oh, T1 struggled to adapt mid-round, giving G2 the victory.
MIBR crushes RRQ
MIBRโs Group B decider match against RRQ was one of the most lopsided series of the tournament so far. MIBR swept the Pacific contender 2-0, with convincing 13-5 wins on Corrode and Abyss. Key to their success was Arthur โartzinโ Araujo, whose KAY/O utility enabled star duelist Erick "aspas" Santos to dominate site entries.
